Body Gossip is a positive body image campaign that is working to banish body shame, encouraging everyone to be the best version of themselves and rock their very own brand of gorgeous.

Body Gossip invites you to write something about your body and send it to us. We then pick a selection of your pieces to be performed in live events by our celebrity cast, made into short films for our YouTube channel, and we have published over 300 of them in our first ever Body Gossip book. We teach self esteem to teenagers all over the UK, run University projects nationwide, and pioneer a healthy, celebratory attitude towards diverse beauty ideals.

We want your story! Regardless of your gender, age, race or sexuality – Everyone has a body and everyone can contribute to our campaign.

Body Gossip is run entirely voluntarily by Ruth Rogers and Natasha Devon.  Our Tshirts are designed by Lee Simmons.  We have a great team of ambassadors around the country who help promote our message.

In October 2012, Body Gossip co-directors Ruth Rogers and Natasha Devon won Cosmopolitan's Ultimate Women of the Year Award in the Campaigners Category: see them accept their award here, and click here to watch them get very excited in an exclusive interview by Cosmo! Be the Best Version of You!

In September 2012 we launched our first ever Body Gossip book. The book is an anthology of more than 300 of the stories we have received from you since our campaign began six years ago. The stories are written by people of all shapes and sizes, ages and races from all over the UK and cover everything from birth to ageing vis pregnancy, sport, diets, illness, disability, ethnicity, sexuality, tattoos - Anything body related! Some of the pieces are funny, some moving, some are controversial but they are all inspiring.

The book contains a foreword by Mr Body Confidence himself, Gok Wan, as well as entries from some of our celebrity supporters including Alesha Dixon, Jermain Defoe, Craig Revel-Horwood and Anne Diamond. You can order your copy online here.

Rock Your Own Brand of Gorgeous!

Feeling inspired to write your own body story? We're ALWAYS looking for new pieces from the public. So tell us about YOUR body, or how you feel about other people’s bodies, or the bodies we see in the public eye and your story could be chosen to be our story of the week, performed by our celebrity cast in a future live theatre event, made into a short film or published in our next book!

You can also learn about our Education Programme, Gossip School, about our University Project Body Gossip on Tour, or keep up to date with the latest news in our Blog.

Lots of love,
